Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, Hexagrid is a leading developer of enterprise IT infrastructure software solutions. In November of 2009, the company brought its flagship product, VxDatacenter, out of Beta and into general availability. VxDatacenter enables enterprises and service providers to build highly scalable and highly available Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Clouds. Not only can organizations build and get all the benefits of instantly deploying and managing IT infrastructure from one unified control console like many of the more popular commodity clouds today, Hexagrid’s revolutionary platform’s inherent flexibility also allows them to build customized clouds that fit their specific needs. How did we get here? |
Leveraging his passion for Grid Computing and Virtualization, Hexagrid’s founder, Suresh Mandava, started development on what he called his “Grid Enabled Virtualized Computing Environment” (later to be known as IaaS) in 2007, after Intel first made available its VT enabled chipsets. It was this technology that enabled Suresh’s dream of directly sharing physical computing resources without the need of emulation. Then in March of 2008, after developing the first prototype, Suresh founded Hexagrid Computing and put together a team of seasoned software and business professionals that have helped grow many leading global organizations. Hexagrid has been constantly striving to build highly advanced IT infrastructure automation software that simplifies the lives of IT professionals everywhere. Our core belief is that technology is meant to make life easier, not more complicated with an abundance of unneeded feature sets that make no business sense. It is this business centric point of view that we believe truly puts Hexagrid “Above the Clouds”.
